Art Gallery Opening Reception: THE PATH WILL BEND

Join us for the opening reception of THE PATH WILL BEND, featuring artwork by Amy Silberkleit and George Dirlof. Amy’s intricate lithographs draw inspiration from the forests, trails, and seasonal beauty of the Northern Catskills, hand printed in her Gilboa studio. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the region, including the Albany Institute and the Arkell Museum. George is a painter, printmaker, and graphic artist whose work ranges from wood engravings to large-scale charcoal and oil pieces, all deeply rooted in the wild landscapes of upstate New York.

2025 UAlbany Tech Roadshow

SEEC and the University at Albany’s Office of Economic Development, Entrepreneurship, and Industry Partnerships (OEDEIP), are kicking off a yearlong initiative to bring breakthrough technologies out of university labs and incubators and into the community. Join Paul Fahey of Primeau Fahey & Associates for Canva 101, for a beginner-friendly hybrid session designed to teach attendees the basics of using Canva.  A free-to-use online graphic design tool, Canva creates professional, eye-catching designs using templates, fonts, and brand elements. The session will also cover tips for customizing graphics, optimizing layouts, and making the most of Canva’s tools for marketing and social media content. Don’t miss this opportunity to boost your design skills and enhance your business’s digital presence.

Village of Sharon Springs Small Project Fund

Sharon Springs was awarded $2.25 million as a NY Forward initiative. Designed to support small-scale projects that improve the downtown, SEEC is administering the $300,000 Small Project Fund.

Starting in July, SEEC will schedule FREE architectural consultations for eligible property owners.

Funding is limited, and awards will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
