SEEC serves as a liaison to local municipalities and institutional leaders with the common goal of highlighting distinctive points of light within the community, cultivating entrepreneurial endeavors, and enhancing the ability of local businesses to add value to their enterprises.
Current Opportunities
Village of Sharon Springs Small Project Fund
Sharon Springs was awarded $2.25 million as a NY Forward initiative. Designed to support small-scale projects that improve the downtown, SEEC is administering the $300,000 Small Project Fund. Starting in July, SEEC will schedule FREE architectural consultations for eligible property owners. Funding is limited, and awards will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Town of Schoharie Gateway Area Plan RFP
Proposals are due Tuesday, September 23rd at noon via email to the Town Supervisor at schoharie.supervisor@co.schoharie.ny.us. NYS certified MWBEs are encouraged to respond and link to www.nyscr.ny.gov. Written questions should be directed to grants@seecny.org by September 9th.
