Climate Smart Communities by MVEDD & The Waterfall Center

Join the MVEDD sustainability team to learn about the Climate Smart Communities program—a voluntary NYS initiative helping municipalities reduce emissions, build climate resilience, and plan for a sustainable future.

Mindfulness Skills Training
Free for Schoharie County High School Students (Grades 9–12)

Learn practical tools to manage stress and anxiety through guided mindfulness exercises. This 4-week program helps you cultivate present-moment awareness, respond to challenges with intention, and build resilience in a supportive, confidential space.

Don't miss your final opportunity to experience Amy Silberkleit and George Dirolf's stunning exhibition at 287 Main Gallery before it closes at the end of October.

Amy Silberkleit captures the Northern Catskills through intricate hand-printed lithographs, drawing detailed landscapes on limestone blocks in her Gilboa studio. Her work has been featured at the Arkell Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art Gallery Store, and Albany Institute. George Dirolf works in wood engravings, large-scale charcoal drawings, and oil paintings inspired by the wild landscapes of upstate New York.

Visit before October 31 | 287 Main Street, Schoharie A new artist will be featured beginning November.
