Welcome: Andrea Joins SEEC as Executive Assistant
SEEC is excited to welcome Andrea Lawyer as our new Executive Assistant!
Andrea is deeply rooted in her community and brings a strong commitment to local connection, service, and long-term growth. A dedicated volunteer and advocate for small and local businesses, she is passionate about supporting the people, makers, and entrepreneurs who give the county its character. She holds a dual bachelor’s degree in English and Art, as well as a master’s degree in Studio Art.
Andrea is a two-time Best Photographer recipient at the Fenimore Art by the Lake Juried Exhibition, and her creative work reflects a thoughtful eye for storytelling, detail, and place. P.S. The photos below are captured through Andrea’s lens and the framed wool replica of 287 Main was also created by our new Executive Assistant.
Andrea also brings a meaningful professional background working for many years with individuals with developmental disabilities, both in classroom environments and in administrative roles. This experience informs her organized, compassionate, and people-centered approach to her work. She lives locally with her husband and their two-year-old daughter, where they care for a small, lively farm with goats, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. Her love of art, music, and the outdoors continues to shape her perspective and connection to community.
