SEEC To Participate in Schoharie’s First-Ever Community Festival on June 24
Free Family Event at Schoharie Central School Features Food, Activities, Career Resources, and More
Schoharie, NY — SEEC will be among the many community organizations participating in the first-ever Schoharie Community Fest, taking place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM at Schoharie Central School, 136 Academy Drive, Schoharie, NY. The rain date is Thursday, June 25.
Organized as a celebration of the Schoharie community, the festival is designed to bring together families, friends, and neighbors to kick off summer while showcasing the region's wide range of resources and organizations. Admission is free.
The event will feature a packed schedule of activities for all ages, including:
Free hot dogs, strawberry shortcake, and Stewart's ice cream cones, plus food trucks
Wildlife Alive birds-of-prey presentation
Free-throw contest and Pickleball tournament
Chalk drawing and story time for younger attendees
Free Zumba class
SCS student club expo
Hands-on job skills information
A college and career fair featuring Russell Sage College, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC), Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC), Maria College, Herkimer County Community College (HCCC), the U.S. Army, and local CTE programs
