SEEC Unveils ASPIRE & ENLIGHTEN Awardees at “Toast to the Town – Behind the Build” Inside The Parrott House

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Schoharie, NY — December 8, 2025 — SEEC (Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corporation) welcomed community members, partners, and local leaders Wednesday night for Toast to the Town – Behind the Build, an exclusive hard-hat preview of The Parrott House renovation and a celebration of the people shaping Schoharie County’s future.

The evening captured what SEEC Advisor Erynne Ansel-McCabe described as “glitter in the air… that sort of diamond dust that thrives on hope, joy, and happiness.” Guests gathered inside the historic Parrott House to experience the momentum behind its transformation and the renewed energy it brings to Main Street.

SEEC extended its gratitude to owners Alex and Nick, whose vision and hospitality allowed attendees to step inside the progress and witness firsthand how The Parrott House is becoming—once again—the heartbeat of downtown Schoharie. Alex and Nick not only opened the doors to the renovation but also opened up about their serendipitous journey to Schoharie County, creating a meaningful evening for guests eager to meet the new owners. Their work, supported by an entire community, underscores the shared belief in the building’s future as a regional destination.
