Who Enlightens and Aspires Schoharie County? 2025 Call For Nominations!
The Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corporation (SEEC) invites the community to submit nominations for the 2025 ENLIGHTEN and ASPIRE Awards. This non-traditional recognition, offered by SEEC and its benefactors Dusty and Tom Putnam, celebrates the individuals and organizations who spark innovation, education, and growth across Schoharie County. Winners will be announced during SEEC’s annual Toast to the Town celebration in December.

SEEC Welcomes Afolabi Salami as Senior Program Administrator
We’re excited to announce that Afolabi Salami FIMC, PMP has joined SEEC as Senior Program Administrator!
Afolabi joins us from Little Rock, Arkansas, where he earned his Master’s in Public Service and worked with organizations strengthening local economies, empowering minority-and women-owned businesses, and bridging the digital divide in rural communities. We’re thrilled to welcome him to Schoharie County as he helps advance SEEC’s mission.

The Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corporation (SEEC) and the University at Albany’s Office of Economic Development, Entrepreneurship, and Industry Partnerships (OEDEIP), are kicking off a yearlong initiative to bring breakthrough technologies out of university labs and incubators and into the community with the 2025 UAlbany Tech Roadshow. Join SEEC for an exciting event on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at 287 Main Street, Schoharie, where UAlbany researchers and startup founders will showcase innovative, cutting-edge technologies in energy, utilities, disaster preparedness, and more.
