Who Enlightens and Aspires Schoharie County?
SEEC Announces Call for Nominations for the 2025 Enlighten and Aspire Awards
Schoharie County, NY (October 8, 2025) – The Schoharie Economic Enterprise Corporation (SEEC) invites the community to submit nominations for the 2025 ENLIGHTEN and ASPIRE Awards. This non-traditional recognition, offered by SEEC and its benefactors Dusty and Tom Putnam, celebrates the individuals and organizations who spark innovation, education, and growth across Schoharie County. Winners will be announced during SEEC’s annual Toast to the Town celebration in December.
Over the past three years, SEEC has received dozens of nominations from every corner of the county—showcasing the inspiring work happening across Main Streets, schools, farms, and cultural institutions. Two honorees are selected each year for their visionary leadership and contributions to community prosperity.
“We’ve been so pleased to learn about the incredible work happening throughout the county—from creative entrepreneurs to inspiring educators and mission-driven leaders,” said Tom Putnam, SEEC Chair and Founder of Fenimore Asset Management. “Each nominee reflects the spirit of Schoharie County—rooted in resilience and innovation.”
